在Anna的印象里，袁子杰就是一個機(jī)器人,。工作,，喝酒，然后看手機(jī)就是他的全部,。很少與人交流,，除非必須需要交流或者沒事做。Anna并不會覺得袁子杰會覺得任何個人很重要,。
“Why do you value her that much?”（你為什么覺得她這么重要,。）
“I mean everyone has their weakness. Mine is in areas like communication， empathy,， and organization.“（依我看來,，所有人都有缺點(diǎn)。我的缺點(diǎn)就是像交流,，理解他人,，和自我管理能力）這時候，烤箱的聲音響了,。袁子杰拿出了手套,，把烤箱里的烤雞拿了出來。
把一個雞腿切下來,，下面放上雞里面的米飯,，上面放上雞腿，旁邊放上一些水煮蔬菜,。
“Cajun rice with roasted chicken.“（印第安飯配烤雞,。）
袁子杰吃了一口，“The flavor of the chicken is there,， the chicken is pretty good. I might need to adjust some recipes tomorrow.”（雞肉味道很濃,，這個雞還不錯。我明天需要改一改菜譜,。）
“I really really like this.“（我真的很喜歡。）
“Ok,， I will do the dishes and let's go home. Where do you live?“（好的,，我把碗和鍋?zhàn)酉戳?。你住哪里？?p> “Sheraton.“（喜來登酒店）
“Cool,， I live there too.“（好的,，我也住那里。）
袁子杰把用過的鍋?zhàn)雍捅P子洗了,，放好,，巡視了一圈廚房，發(fā)現(xiàn)都清理干凈了,。
“Let's go.“（我們走吧?。┰咏苕i了門，從后門和Anna一起走了出去,。
袁子杰打了車,，然后和Anna兩個人一起回到了酒店。結(jié)果驚奇的發(fā)現(xiàn)兩個人住隔壁,。
“Ok,， see you soon. I need to go to bed.”（好的，馬上見,，我要睡覺了）袁子杰對Anna說,。
“Do you want to know the surprise? Now or never.“（你想要知道那個驚喜嗎？要么現(xiàn)在要么永遠(yuǎn)不要,。）
袁子杰直接關(guān)上了門,，悶頭就睡。Anna看著被關(guān)上的門,，不爽的嘀咕著,，“How can he reject an offer from a girl?”（鋼鐵直男，怎么可以拒絕一個女生的請求呢,？）
她發(fā)短信給林悅欣,，吐槽了一番。林悅欣盡然還沒睡,，“That's why I sort of gave up on trying to be his girlfriend. He is not romantic at all.”（這就是為什么我放棄了當(dāng)他女朋友的想法,。他實(shí)在一點(diǎn)都不浪漫。）
Anna發(fā)了一個無奈的表情,。
林悅欣發(fā)了一串大笑的表情,。
Anna回復(fù)到，“Alex seems like he found someone that is really important to him. He is going to visit her in the states. I am surprised.”（袁子杰找到了一個對他他很重要的人,。他會去美國見她,，我有點(diǎn)驚訝。）
“I more or less know who it is. He mentioned it via text. I am not surprised that it is her.“（我大概知道是誰的。他和我短信的時候提了一嘴,。如果是她,，我不是很驚訝。）
“Oh well,， thanks. I feel a lot better.“（好的謝謝,。我感覺好多了。）
“What did you plan to give him?“（你準(zhǔn)備給他什么,？）
“A ring. To tell everyone that he is mine.”（一個戒指,。告訴全世界他是我的。）
“Ok. Do you think he will except it?“（好的,，你覺得他會接受嗎,？）
“I mean why should I back off if I haven't tried.”（當(dāng)我還沒嘗試，我為什么要退縮呢,？）
