　　袁子杰敲響了葉夢(mèng)露的門,。“老板,，五天后我要去美國(guó),，請(qǐng)假一周?！?p>　　“現(xiàn)在客人來(lái)了,，你不回去,？”

　　“沒(méi)事，批準(zhǔn)一下,。然后幫我選一個(gè)副主廚,。”

　　“好的,，就Matt了,。”

　　“Ok,?！?p>　　袁子杰回到廚房?！癕att,， you are the chosen one.”（Matt，你是天選之子/你被選中了）

　　Matt來(lái)到袁子杰旁邊,?！癘k， your job is to make sure customers don't wait too long for the food and the food is good.”（你的職責(zé)就是保證顧客不用等太久,，并且食物是好的,。）

　　“Ok,， follow his commands.”（好的,，跟著他的指令。）

　　一張一張單子打印出來(lái),。一開(kāi)始還好,，頭盤由于比較簡(jiǎn)單。后來(lái),，事情就變亂了,。來(lái)的有些晚的客人的頭盤和來(lái)的比較早的客人的主菜差不多時(shí)間出菜。廚房里手忙腳亂,。

　　“Look,， always have a brief idea of when should each table?receive their food next. Look,， get those appetizers out， did you check if everything is good?”（好的,，一直有一個(gè)大概沒(méi)一桌什么時(shí)候應(yīng)該再出菜的概念,。先把前菜弄出去。你看過(guò)每一個(gè)都是好的,？）

　　Matt再檢查了一下,。“They are all fine chef.“（都沒(méi)問(wèn)題主廚,。）

　　“Ok,， do it. Don't wait for me.“（那好，去做,，不要等我,。）

　　“Yes chef.“（是，主廚,。）

　　“Table five is complaining.”（五號(hào)桌已經(jīng)在抱怨了,。）

　　“When is the food for table five done?”（五號(hào)桌的食物什么時(shí)候好？）Matt問(wèn)道,。

　　“Specify which dishes.”（把具體的菜名說(shuō)一下,。）袁子杰說(shuō)到。

　　“One garlic butter pasta and one duck.“Matt繼續(xù)到,。

　　“2 minutes.“（兩分鐘,。）

　　“We are plating.“（我們?cè)谘b盤。）

　　“Communicate the information to the waiter.“（把信息給服務(wù)員,。）袁子杰繼續(xù)到,。

　　“Ok， 3 minutes for table five.“（好的,，三分鐘五號(hào)桌好）Matt和服務(wù)員交流了一下,。
